Creativity@home – MAD WORKSHOP

RM4L researchers attended the MAD Workshop (Matrix of Applications), a 2-days event to facilitate partnership and creative thinking across the consortium.

This MAD workshop focused on enhancing the quality of research in bio-mimetic construction materials by (i) bringing together separately, and then jointly, groups of research leaders and industry partners to work collaboratively together, (ii) considering challenges faced by industry, (iii) matching current technologies with particular industrial applications (iv) exploring ideas for future research to address unmet challenges and (v) developing a plan of action for future research.

Invited industrial representatives from WSP, Atkins and SWECO helped the researchers to understand challenges and issues in applying our technologies in the real world.
